In addition, he has credentials to teach Spanish at all levels from California State University,   San Francisco.

The author has been the recipient of scholarships for graduate studies at the University of the Americas in Cholula, Mexico and the Jesuit University of Guadalajara in conjunction with the University of San Diego.

He has authored three foreign language books including the best-selling Costa Rican Spanish Survival Course.  In 1985 he founded a successful language institute in San José, Costa Rica.

Currently he is busy leading monthly exploratory tours for future residents of Costa Rica, conducting seminars and working as a paid consultant for people wanting to relocate, invest or start a business in Costa Rica.

Finally, he is putting the finishing touches on a movie script to be filmed in Central America.
